Intro

My name is Kathleen Luttschyn, and I’m a freelance design, art, and travel writer in Chicago. For the past several years, I’ve primarily worked for Pagoda Red, a renowned art and antiques gallery whose clients include Prada and Jennifer Aniston. In addition to writing their blog, I also collaborate with the owner and their in-house photographer on their Instagram account.

I’m very familiar with the current design market and regularly interview renowned interior designers and architects, as well as other artists and creatives.

A perfect Sunday

My perfect Sundays are usually spent in Marylebone, London, where I lived with my husband and two sons for several years before the pandemic, and which I still visit regularly. Ideally, I’d start with an americano at Boxcar, pop into TotallySwedish for candy, window shop down Chiltern Street, stroll The Wallace Collection, get lost in Daunt Books, and finish with saag paneer at The Rajdoot. Even without an itinerary, wandering Marylebone is always wonderful.
